FIRST STOP: VTUBER HELL
Behold, if you dare, the depths of my madness...
Okay, maybe it ain't that deep. But to say that vtubers have had a hold on my life for the past year or so is...an understatement. I love vtubers. A lot. Which is funny because for the longest time I was one of those crochety old folks who didn't really get the hype. That all changed when this subculture intersected with one of my favorite games...
Suffice to say, Ike Eveland playing through Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc changed the course of my life and that is not a joke.

The culprit himself.
Imagine. It's late 2023. I'm here, depressed and bored, surfing youtube for Danganronpa content. I've watched too many so there's not a lot I haven't seen. All of a sudden, I see a video about vtubers playing the first game. I'm still not really into vtubers at this point so I'm not really paying attention until he appears...this soft-spoken, sweet little blue Swedish man with a good sense of humor. Now I'm going from clips to vods. Then vods to streams. Suddenly I'm looking into other waves while asking myself questions like "what the fuck is an Iluna?"
That's how I found myself neck-deep in the vtuber fandom. For a while, I was a lurker. But now I've come out of my shell more and talk a lot in chat as well as on Twitter. Maybe even too much lmao. But I have a lot of fun doing it.
I've changed a lot as a person since becoming a vtuber fan. I'm a lot happier. A lot more motivated. And have met a lot of cool people. I wouldn't trade this for the world. I love it so much, I coded a whole e-shrine to talk about it. So if you wanna stick around and see me gush about my oshis in embarassing amounts of detail: welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay!
